The conference will take place on 21 and 22 July at the School of Industrial Engineering (EEI) and is aimed at early-career researchers and professionals from the industrial sector.

DCETIP 2026 has been conceived as a meeting point for sharing advances, exchanging ideas, and strengthening connections among those conducting research in areas related to energy, technology, and industrial processes. The conference is intended for early-stage researchers, PhD candidates, recent PhD graduates, and industrial professionals who wish to present their results or discuss emerging research directions.

The conference will feature internationally renowned experts whose presentations will provide an up-to-date overview of the most significant advances in the fields of energy, advanced technologies, and industrial processes. Confirmed speakers include Carmelo D’Agostino from Lund University; Gherhardt Ribatski from the University of São Paulo; Vítor Monteiro from the ALGORITMI Centre at the University of Minho; Sergi Garcia-Segura from Arizona State University; and Ana Leite Oliveira, a researcher at the CBQF – Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry of the School of Biotechnology at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Their contributions reinforce the international character of the event and highlight CINTECX’s commitment to attracting top-level scientific talent.
