To celebrate International Women and Girls in Science Day, or International Women’s Day, campaigns were run on social media to give visibility to the Centre’s female researchers, a great team doing science as women, helping to consolidate the female presence in our sector.

Support for the professional development of the Centre’s research staff

Ongoing publicity of the achievements by the Centre’s women researchers to promote their research careers. Cintecx offers help, support and publicity for all the activities of its research staff to promote their professional recognition.

The fundamental aim of this campaign is to value and publicise contemporary women scientists and encourage a vocation for research among young girls and boys, with female figures from their environment as a reference.

Three women researchers from the Centre, Concepción Paz in 2020, Ángeles Sanromán in 2023, and Xanel Vecino in 2024 were the participants in this campaign.
