The 1st Engineering Symposium, organised by AGEINCO, will take place on 28 September. The event is conceived as a meeting point for professionals, companies and organisations linked to the sector, with the aim of addressing the main challenges facing engineering in Galicia and its role in the region’s economic and social development.

CINTECX will be represented by researcher Aida Díez Sarabia, who will participate in the round table “Sustainability and resilient infrastructure”, focusing on smart water management, new materials adapted to climate change, and the challenges of sustainability and environmental protection.

The Symposium will be structured around three main areas:

• Challenges, talent and competitiveness.
• Artificial intelligence applied to project management.
• Sustainability and resilient infrastructure.

With this first Symposium, AGEINCO continues to promote meeting spaces that contribute to strengthening collaboration among the different stakeholders in the sector and to advancing towards a more innovative, competitive and sustainable engineering sector in Galicia, prepared to address the challenges of the future.
