TechnoHeritage2024: International Congress on Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage

Experts from all over the world meet at the 5th International Congress TechnoHeritage2024 to discuss about the conservation of cultural heritage.

Professor Iago Pozo, researcher at CINTECX, at the School of Mining and Energy Engineering of the University of Vigo, is one of the main organisers of the 5th International TechnoHeritage2024 Congress, together with the three Galician universities. This event will be held this week, from 25 to 27 September, in Santiago de Compostela and will bring together more than 180 researchers from around the world to discuss and share advances in science and technology applied to the conservation of cultural heritage.

In addition, this year it includes the 1st Biennial Meeting of the Specialised Group of Chemistry for the Study and Conservation of Cultural Heritage (GEQP), organised by the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry.
