The Applied Geotechnologies Group (GeoTech) has more than 20 years of experience and specializes in the application of geotechnologies and artificial intelligence techniques for the inspection, monitoring, and safety of transport and construction infrastructures.

GeoTech has been recognized as a competitive reference group in Galicia due to the quality of its scientific publications and the success of more than 100 R&D projects funded by external entities. The group has more than 400 scientific articles, over 30 researchers, and develops, tests, and applies advanced remote sensing technologies, geophysical analysis, and AI-based predictive modeling to enable smart maintenance strategies and early warning systems for structural integrity.
