CINTECX strengthens its presence in the innovation ecosystem by taking part in the fourth edition of Science for Industry, held at La Nave (Madrid) on 28 and 29 January. The centre is part of the Galician delegation promoted by the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), which has its own stand to showcase the talent and technology developed in Galicia, together with the R&D Office of the University of Vigo.
Science for Industry has established itself as a strategic meeting point connecting frontier research, industry and capital. Previous editions have brought together more than 30,000 researchers, major companies, science‑based startups and investment funds, with the aim of accelerating the arrival of Deep Science technologies to the market with real impact.
Representing CINTECX is Alba Giráldez, transfer and project manager, responsible for presenting the centre’s technological capabilities and its industry‑oriented solutions. Alongside her, the DSN group of CINTECX was also present, represented by researchers Abraham Segade, Sofía Suárez and José Ángel López, who introduced the spin‑off Nsilica, specialised in bioengineering solutions and advanced numerical analysis for professionals in the industrial and healthcare sectors.
Thanks to the structure of the event, which encourages direct meetings with companies, the CINTECX team had the opportunity to meet with representatives from Repsol, in a highly productive exchange that opens the door to future collaborations and joint projects.
The organisation of the event — structured around the Global Summit, the Industry Corner and the Investors Club — facilitates the identification of technological challenges, access to high‑potential capabilities and the creation of strategic alliances to drive new innovation projects.
