CINTECX Calendar: September with Eva Legido

“Research requires identification, abstraction, imagination, and multitasking skills—qualities that are represented in women.” —Eva Legido

I am a mechanical industrial engineer, dedicated to R&D&I projects and homologations, analyzing strategies for safer, more efficient, and more sustainable passenger transport vehicles, while seeking to harmonize regulations at a global level.

Research allows me to develop technical skills, tackle technological challenges with no clear solution, and redirect projects to achieve success.

Working in R&D&I requires designing and selecting projects, analyzing multiple factors, and thinking long-term to reduce risks and ensure success.

R&D&I projects in transport contribute to a safer and more sustainable society by developing vehicles that integrate urban components into a global ecosystem.

To young women, I would say that everyone can fully develop their abilities, and that all the qualities needed for research are represented in women, making them ideal for this type of project.
