I work on calculating combustion parameters of non-conventional biomass and designing a system for capturing gaseous combustion samples to analyze their composition through chromatography.
I believe research satisfies the innate curiosity of human beings and provides new and necessary information to develop ideas that help improve our life experience.
Research has changed my perspective and the way I solve problems. It’s surprising how a solution to a specific issue can be extrapolated to many other challenges that arise throughout our scientific careers, broadening our horizons.
My work helps improve the circular economy by detecting and offering solutions to sources of pollution that harm both humans and the environment.
To young women, I would say that the most stimulating thing about research is that it’s anything but monotonous. You’re always exploring new topics, trying to overcome different obstacles that appear along the way.
