Once again, the Center for Research in Technologies, Energy and Industrial Processes (CINTECX) strengthens its international projection in 2026 thanks to the mobility grants, which will allow the center’s work to be present in more than a dozen countries. In total, 24 researchers have benefited from this call, aimed at facilitating attendance at conferences, scientific meetings, and major international events.
These grants will enable the participation of the center’s research staff in key scientific events for disseminating results, exchanging knowledge, and establishing strategic collaborations with other research groups and centers at an international level.
CINTECX begins its 2026 mobility program at a major international conference
The 2026 mobility grants are already underway, and they have begun by taking CINTECX’s research to France. Two researchers from the LASERON group were the first to benefit from this call, participating in the international conference GLASS‑LYON 2026, one of the leading events in glass technologies. There, they presented the progress of their predoctoral research, carried out within the framework of the European project EVERGLASS.
For both researchers, this experience has been a key opportunity to showcase their work to the international scientific community, exchange ideas with other specialists in the field, and begin building a network of contacts that will be essential in their research careers.
Continuity and growth of a strategic commitment
The 2026 call continues a line of mobility support that has been consolidated in recent years. In 2025, a total of 15 CINTECX members benefited from these grants, participating in around ten research conferences held in countries such as Portugal, Italy, France, Greece, and Spain, in addition to carrying out research stays in centers in the United States and Portugal.
Funding for the mobility grants is made possible thanks to the Aid for the structure, improvement, and support of the Research Centers of the Galician University System (CIGUS), co‑funded by European Funds under the Feder Galicia 2021‑2027 operational program.
