Created in 2021, the DSN group builds on a solid research trajectory that began in 2001. Its mission is to generate knowledge in the fields of mechanical engineering and applied mathematics, promoting technological transfer to the industrial sector.

With more than 120 scientific publications and 2 supervised doctoral theses, DSN is recognized by the Xunta de Galicia as a Group with Growth Potential.

Its activity focuses on the analysis and design of complex mechanical systems, the integration of mechatronic solutions, the computational modeling of structures and materials, and the development of numerical methods applied to engineering.

The group combines advanced simulation, calculation, and analysis techniques to address challenges in sectors such as automotive, energy, biomechanics, and industrial manufacturing.
