I research biomedical engineering, specifically the numerical modeling of biological tissues, simulation of prostheses and implants, and the development of techniques for biomechanical analysis.
Research is my path to innovate and develop useful solutions for society. It allows me to explore alternatives to conventional approaches and discover new tools that help us tackle current challenges, without fear of the unknown or of failure.
My work actively contributes to the development of new biomedical devices used in surgery or rehabilitation. Through numerical modeling of tissues and simulation models, we are able to test the functionality of prostheses before they are implanted in patients. By developing techniques and devices for biomechanical analysis, we provide measurement and evaluation tools to rehabilitation specialists and sports professionals.
To young women, I would say that research gives them the opportunity to explore new ideas and change our reality.
