Call for Applications
The CINTECX Strategic Plan includes, within the action plan for achieving its strategic objectives, an annual competitive funding call known as the CINTECX Challenge, aimed at supporting collaborative R&D projects between researchers affiliated with the centre.
To this end, the CHALLENGE 2026 – 1st edition funding call is called.
The deadline for participating in the first edition of the call for applications will be open from 9 December 2025 to 9 January 2026.
Proposals that comply with the requirements established in the call will be presented during a Technical Workshop at CINTECX, where they will be evaluated and the winning proposal will be selected.
An important aspect of this challenge is to achieve a significant social impact in the region. Therefore, the results of the winning proposal will be presented at a specific event and dissemination activities will be carried out.
Application requirements
- The submitted proposal must be original and must be aligned with the technological areas and the priority lines of the CINTECX scientific agenda and must contribute to the projection and visibility of the center.
- They must have the participation of at least 2 research groups Cintecx .

The deadline for participating in the second edition of the call for applications will be open from May 5, 2026 to May 31, 2026.
The proposals that comply with the provisions of the call will be defended during a Technical Conference at CINTECX, in which their evaluation and the selection of the winning proposal will be carried out.
An important aspect of this challenge is to achieve a relevant social impact in the region, so the results of the winning proposal are presented at a specific event and activities are carried out to disseminate them.
