Licenciado en Ciencias Matemáticas (Astronomía y Geodesia) y Doctor en CC Físicas (Geodesia y Geofísica), ambos por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ha dirigido 10 tesis doctorales. Ha participado en más de 100 publicaciones científicas (índice h 18). Disfruta de 7 patentes en explotación. ha sido investigador principal en 9 proyectos de investigación y más de 50 contratos I+D firmados con empresas.
