Breve CV

Ingeniero Técnico Industrial (especialidad Mecánica), Ingeniero Industrial (especialidad Construcción) y Doctor con mención internacional por la Universidad de Vigo. Ha impartido docencia en diversas titulaciones de grado así como en asignaturas relacionadas con el Área de Mecánica de los Medios Continuos y Teoría de Estructuras de la Universidad de Vigo. Fué investigador visitante en el Institute of Computational Mechanics and Optimization, Technical University of Crete (Grecia) y en el Departamento de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidade do Minho (Portugal). Autor de varios artículos científicos publicados en revistas indexadas en JCR así como de participaciones en congresos de ámbito internacional. Sus principales líneas de investigación están relacionadas con el análisis estructural de puentes arco de fábrica, uniones en estructuras de acero, análisis de sensibilidad, modelización subrogada y calibración de modelos numéricos empleando procedimientos determinísticos y probabilísticos.
