Doctora en Matem\u00e1ticas por la Universidad de Oviedo. Profesora Titular en la Universidade de Vigo. Sus intereses de investigaci\u00f3n son Estad\u00edstica Espacial y Miner\u00eda de Datos. Es coautora de m\u00e1s de 90 publicaciones (art\u00edculos, trabajos en congresos, cap\u00edtulos, libros, documentos cient\u00edfico-t\u00e9cnico restringidos), participante en m\u00e1s de 25 proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n \/ contratos con empresas. Es autora de una patente. Ha realizado estancias de investigaci\u00f3n en el extranjero. Ha colaborado en la organizado m\u00e1s de seis seminarios \/ congresos \/ jornadas \/ reuniones cient\u00edficas. Ha dirigido m\u00e1s de quince Tesis Doctorales \/ Trabajos Fin de M\u00e1ster \/ Trabajos Fin de Grado \/ DEA \/ Proyectos Fin de Carrera.
