Doctor en Ingenier\u00eda de Minas por la Universidad de Oviedo en 1997. Desde 2003 es Profesor Titular en la Universidad de Vigo. Ha impartido docencia universitaria desde 1998. Sus intereses de investigaci\u00f3n son materiales met\u00e1licos y compuestos, su conformado y tratamientos t\u00e9rmicos, tratamiento superficial. Es coautor de m\u00e1s de 20 de art\u00edculos y 45 de trabajos en congresos, participante en m\u00e1s de 20 proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n\/contratos con empresas. Ha realizado estancias de investigaci\u00f3n en el extranjero. Ha colaborado en la organizaci\u00f3n de 2 congresos. Ha dirigido 14 Proyectos Fin de Carrera. Es censor de 4 revistas internacionales. Ha recibido el Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado de la Universidad de Oviedo 1996-1997.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<h2
