This new call also received a great response from the center\u2019s researchers.\n\n\n\n<div class=\"custom-block graylight\">\n\nSearch the <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Resolucion_Challenge-2026-firmado.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Challenge-2026 Resolution<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n--><\/p>\n<p><!--\n\n\n<h2>Desarrollo de dispositivo biom\u00e9dico 3D calentable para control antibacteriano\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-229971 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/cintecx.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Diapositiva6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" \/><\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A d\u00eda de hoy, el diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento de las infecciones bacterianas suponen un gran reto en el \u00e1mbito biom\u00e9dico, siendo especialmente relevantes las infecciones asociadas a implantes articulares y tejido dental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La <strong>hipertermia<\/strong> (aumento de la temperatura corporal) se presenta como una alternativa a explorar y varios estudios han mostrado su eficacia ante pat\u00f3genos infecciosos y cepas resistentes a medicamentos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre los m\u00e9todos para inducir hipertermia leve (&lt;42\u00baC) en tejidos vivos, resalta la radiaci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser en el rango VIS-NIR, que se basa en exponer un material fotosensible a esa radiaci\u00f3n induciendo un calentamiento en remoto y una hipertermia local controlada en el tejido en contacto. Uno de estos materiales fotosensibles con fuerte absorci\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n del infrarrojo es el \u00f3xido de grafeno que presenta otras caracter\u00edsticas de gran inter\u00e9s en el campo de los biomateriales.<\/p>\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-229971 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/cintecx.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Diapositiva8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" \/>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con el auge de las tecnolog\u00edas 3D, el desarrollo de dispositivos biom\u00e9dicos personalizados se encuentra en clara expansi\u00f3n\u00a0 y se requieren biomateriales m\u00e1s eficientes que impliquen soluciones menos invasivas y el consumo de menos recursos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El <strong>objetivo general<\/strong> del proyecto es el dise\u00f1o y fabricaci\u00f3n por impresi\u00f3n 3D de un dispositivo biom\u00e9dico calentable en forma de f\u00e9rula dental, basado en la incorporaci\u00f3n de \u00f3xido de grafeno en una matriz polim\u00e9rica de \u00e1cido polil\u00e1ctico y la irradiaci\u00f3n con l\u00e1ser VIS-NIR, para inducir una hipertemia leve (\u226442\u00baC) sobre el tejido gingival, logrando un efecto antibacteriano.<\/p>\n\n\nEl proyecto presentado se alinea con las \u00e1reas tecnol\u00f3gicas y l\u00edneas prioritarias de la agenda cient\u00edfica de CINTECX, en concreto en el \u00e1mbito del RIS3 de Galicia centrado en el Nuevo modelo de vida saludable basado en el envejecimiento activo de la poblaci\u00f3n.\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La presente propuesta integra a tres grupos de investigaci\u00f3n de CINTECX:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul>\n \t\n\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Grupo Novos Materiais (FA3)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Grupo de Tecnolog\u00eda Energ\u00e9tica (GTE)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Grupo de Dise\u00f1o y Simulaci\u00f3n Num\u00e9rica en Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica (DSN)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>NOTICIAS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<table style=\"width: 100%;\">\n\n\n<tbody>\n\n\n<tr>\n\n\n<td style=\"width: 33%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-229971 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cintecx.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/TFG-Irene.jpg\" \/><\/td>\n\n\n\n\n<td style=\"width: 33%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-229971 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cintecx.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Congreso-CNMAT-2022.jpg\" \/><\/td>\n\n\n\n\n<td style=\"width: 33%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-229971 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cintecx.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/estancia-Laura.jpg\" \/><\/td>\n\n\n<\/tr>\n\n\n\n\n<tr>\n\n\n<td style=\"width: 33%;\">\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El pasado 14 de septiembre Irene Fern\u00e1ndez realiz\u00f3 la defensa de su TFG en el Grado de Ingenier\u00eda Biom\u00e9dica. Este trabajo ha sido co-dirigido por Christian Gil y Jes\u00fas Vence del Grupo GTE<\/p>\n\n\n<\/td>\n\n\n\n\n<td style=\"width: 33%;\">\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Laura Gonz\u00e1lez y Sara P\u00e9rez, del Grupo Novos Materiais, han asistido al XVI Congreso Nacional de Materiales, CNMAT 2022, en Ciudad Real, del 28 Junio al 1 Julio 2022.
