SUMMARY:CINTECX at the G-Night
DESCRIPTION:CINTECX research will once again be part of the European Researchers’ Night\, participating in the activities organized by UVigo on Friday\, September 26 at the Redeiras Building\, in Vigo’s Berbés Square. \n \nCINTECX research staff will showcase their expertise through the following activities: \n🤖 Artificial Intelligence and Simulation for Road Safety \nCan artificial intelligence detect and explain road hazards? In this activity\, participants will use simulators and AI to try to answer this question and assess the level of safety in everyday driving. \nFAMILY AUDIENCE FIRST FLOOR\nGROUP OF APPLIED GEOTECHNOLOGIES – CINTECX \n⚡ How to Generate Energy and Remove Pollutants \nIn this workshop\, you’ll learn how to generate H₂ with a battery or even create a battery that lights up a lamp. You’ll also experiment with the most innovative techniques for removing water pollutants. \nFAMILY AUDIENCE THIRD FLOOR\nBIOSUV GROUP – CINTECX \n🧪 Materials: Science Fiction or Reality? \nDiscover the most surprising side of materials in a workshop full of engineering\, creativity\, and experimentation. Through hands-on activities and real-life examples\, you’ll learn how different materials behave under pressure\, torsion\, or temperature—and how these properties are key to designing strong\, flexible\, or lightweight structures. \nFAMILY AUDIENCE OUTDOORS\nSCHOOL OF MINING AND ENERGY ENGINEERING \nUnder the theme “Creative Consciences\,” the event\, coordinated by UVigo\, will bring science to the streets\, museums\, educational institutions\, and bars.
