DESCRIPTION:CINTECX organize the course Practice of oral discourse in scientific forums. \nThe purpose of this course is to provide participants with the necessary tools to improve their communication skills in international scientific forums. Practical aspects related primarily to the precise techniques for making a good presentation in English at congresses\, conferences\, doctoral theses\, etc. will be addressed\, and the communication skills necessary to participate in a scientific debate will be addressed. \nThe course will be face-to-face\, and will consist of 8 training sessions of 2 hours each\, Tuesday and Thursday from 12 to 14 hours during 4 weeks (16 hours in total)\, on the following days: \n\nMay 27\nMay 29\nJune 3\nJune 5\nJune 10\nJune 12\nJune 17\nJune 19\n\nContents: \n\nHow to approach a presentation. Thinking about the audience\nManagement of media for a presentation. Efficient design of slides\, videos\, audios\, etc.\nVerbal communication techniques\nNon-verbal communication techniques: gestures\, postures\, pauses\, etc.\nThe parts of communication: introduction\, development and conclusions\nTalking about a table\, graph\, image\nThe turn for questions\nPronunciation errors\nNumbers\nStatistics\nTalking about a process\nScientific and academic communication styles in English\n\nTo access the course\, you will need to have English accreditation (at least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) obtained in the last two years. DESCRIPTION:Desde CINTECX informamos de la celebración del curso: Práctica del discurso oral en foros científicos. \nEl propósito de este curso es proporcionar a los participantes las herramientas necesarias para mejorar sus habilidades de comunicación en foros científicos internacionales. Se abordarán aspectos prácticos relacionados fundamentalmente con las técnicas precisas para realizar una buena presentación en inglés en congresos\, conferencias\, tesis doctorales\, etc.\, y con las habilidades de comunicación necesarias para participar en un debate científico. \nEl curso será presencial\, y constará de 8 sesiones formativas de 2 horas cada una\, martes y jueves de 12 a 14 horas. durante 4 semanas (16 horas en total)\, en los siguientes días: \n\n27 de mayo\n29 de mayo\n3 de junio\n5 de junio\n10 de junio\n12 de junio\n17 de junio\n19 de junio\n\nEl contenido del curso es el siguiente: \n\nCómo afrontar una presentación. Piensa en la audiencia\nGestión de medios para una presentación. Diseño eficiente de diapositivas\, vídeos\, audios\, etc.\nTécnicas de comunicación verbal\nTécnicas de comunicación no verbal: gestos\, posturas\, pausas\, etc.\nLas partes de la comunicación: introducción\, desarrollo y conclusiones\nHablando de una tabla\, gráfica\, imagen\nEl turno de preguntas\nErrores de pronunciación\nLos números\nLas estadísticas\nHablando de un proceso\nLos estilos de comunicación científica y académica en inglés\n\nPara acceder al curso se requerirá acreditación de inglés (al menos nivel B1 del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas) obtenida en los dos últimos años.
